Studies leading to a doctorate acquisition provide further specification at all sectorial levels of DUTH departments, and in adjacent areas. Our programs aim to create scientific research of high quality as well as to form scientists capable of contributing to the constant progress of science, of research and implementations, along with the staffing of educational, business and research fora, both in Greece and abroad.
In each of the twenty (20) DUTH departments there is at least one doctoral program, which leads to the PhD acquisition, certifying the conduct, writing and presentation of an original self- contained scientific research, while it is reflecting the degree holder’s substantial contribution to the advancement of science.
Each department possesses a regulation about doctoral programs, according to article 45 (2) of Law 4485/2017, governing each of the procedures about the writing of a doctoral thesis in greater detail.
