The Department of Social Policy started its operation in the academic year 2019-2020.

The minimum duration of undergraduate studies is eight (8) academic semesters. Each semester includes thirteen (13) weeks of teaching. For the successful completion of the undergraduate studies, the students must be successfully examined in forty (40) courses, twenty (20) compulsory and twenty (20) electives.

There are three examination periods: a) January / February,

b) June and

c) September.

During the January / February exam period, students have the right to participate in the examinations only for the winter semester courses, while during the June exam period they can participate in examinations only for the spring semester courses. In the September exam period , the students have the right to participate in the examinations of the courses of both semesters (winter and spring).

The Department also educates all the students of the introductory direction of Social Administration of the Department of Social Administration and Political Science who were admitted to the Department of Social Administration and Political Science from the academic year 2014-2015 until the academic year 2018-2019, by act of the Rector, after the submission of a relevant statement of preference (until 31/7/2019).

All students who had been admitted to the Department of Social Administration up to the academic year 2013-2014 and all students who had been admitted to the introductory direction of Social Administration of the Department of Social Administration and Political Science from the academic year 2014 -2015 until the academic year 2018-2019, and did not submit a statement of preference in time, complete the study program of the introductory directions of the Department of Social Administration and Political Science and receive the corresponding degree. The Department of Social Administration and Political Science continues its operation in transition until the graduation of these students.
